Applications for Investigator Initiated Grants (IIG) are now closed.

Funding of up to $200,000 is available for projects with an anticipated duration of 12 - 18 months. All projects must be finalised prior to August 2009. Please note that these grants may not be offered again throughout the term of the Fourth Agreement.

There are four themes and four research categories identified in the Themes and Cetergories Framework document for the R&D Program. Applications are required to address all four themes and one research category. Applications are also expected to fulfil the requirements detailed in the IIG Application Guidelines. Those that do not comply with the guidelines will not be considered for funding.

All applicants should register for email alerts on the web page to obtain any additional information during the application phase.

Closing date for applications is Friday 28 September 2007 at 4pm. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
